IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the oven toaster, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the
convenience outlet (230Va.c.).
3. Do not use two-way socket with other appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it
should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest
authorized service center.
5. Put the unit on stable surface; keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid
accident.
6. Keep curtains, furniture, ammable materials, etc. away from the unit and from the
convenience outlet where the unit is plugged in.
7. Do not place the oven toaster near gas stove or electric stove.
8. The unit needs at least 10 cm clearance space on all sides and at least 30 cm
above. This is to allow adequate air circulation.
9. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
10. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
11. Do not immerse the unit in water.
12. Do not use this unit other than its intended use.
13. Avoid touching the oven toaster surface while cooking is in progress or even after
use. While the oven toaster is in use avoid the glass from getting wet to avoid
breakage.
14. Minor metal contraction sound may occur during operation but this is normal.
15. For household use only; not intended for any business purposes.
16. In case of malfunctions, please bring the unit to the nearest Authorized Imarex
Service Center.
17. Save this instruction for future reference.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE
NOTE: For the rst use, preheat the oven toaster for at least 3 to 5 minutes until
burnt smell and light smoke is gone. This is to prevent this smell and smoke mix to
the food to be cooked.
1. Place the unit on at surface.
2. Check if the timer and heat selector switch is
at OFF position before plugging the oven
toaster into the convenience outlet.
3. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
4. Set the Variable Temperature Control to
desired temperature.
NOTE: The temperature that been set may not be
reach exactly as the room temperature aects the
unit when in used.
5. Set the heat selector switch (up, down or all).
6. For baking, use edible oil or butter to keep
the food from sticking into the pan. Switch
ON the Convection Control Switch.
7. Turn the Timer to preheat the oven for at
least 5 minutes or as required by the cooking
recipe.
NOTE: If you need to set the time below 10 minutes,
set the timer switch to maximum rst then set to
desired time setting.
The time that been set may not be reach exactly, it
may be ±60 seconds of the set time.
8. Place the food on the grill rack or tray and
close the door. Be careful when putting food,
the unit is hot.
9. Turn the timer switch to desired cooking time.
NOTE: Cooking time may vary to size and amount
of food to be cooked.
The result of the food to be cooked may depend on
the amount and size, trial is advisable to get the
desired setting and doneness of the food.
10. A beep sound will be heard and the oven
toaster will stop cooking once the set time is
nished.
NOTE: Never turn OFF the Timer Switch forcibly,
it may damage the switch. The switch will
automatically return to the OFF position even
without turning.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.
2. Allow the unit to cool down before moving or cleaning.
3. Use damp cloth in cleaning the unit.
4. Wash tray, rack, tray handle, skewer and skewer handle with soap and water, let it
dry.
5. Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.
6. Always clean the inner part of the unit after every use.
