True Phantom
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Philosophy True Phantom, is a dual channel
P48 Phantom power supply. Compared to traditional
Phantom Power supplies True Phantom achieves lower
distortion and an improvement of the signal-to-noise
ratio. Based on patented technology True Phantom
enables unparalleled performance from your
microphone.
Operation True Phantom is connected between
microphone and preamp. When engaging the direct switch which
bypasses the internal Phantom Blocking circuit, be certain the
channel onto which True Phantom is connected can handle P48
Phantom Power. Normally gear, especially microphone preamps
should have no difficulty in handling Phantom Power, to be really
sure, consult the manufacturer of your preamp. TritonAudio can
not be held accountable for incorrect use.
USER GUIDE
Circuit topology True Phantom utilises a low noise
PSU circuit which powers an active, low noise P48 Phantom Power circuit.
True Phantom's electronics enable the microphone to operate
at no-load condition, this lowers distortion and improves noise
perfomance.
