GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Philosophy FetHead Phantom is an ultra low-noise, high
quality,in-line microphone preamplifier. It provides improved
sound for Condenser microphones. Small, compact, but
powerful, Fethead Phantom utilizes tried and true FET
technology to deliver up to 18dB of clean boost. No more
cranking your mic preamp and adding unwanted noise to get
your microphone to an acceptable volume.
Operation Your Fethead Phantom will inconspicuously latch straight
onto any XLR equipped microphone and runs on phantom power, itβs ready
for use with any type of Phantom powered setup. Fethead Phantom
provides phantom power to the connected microphone.
Recommended application FetHead Phantom
is recommended for improving the signal to noise ratio and
performance in the following situations:
Recording direct into a DAW interface
Noisy or low gain preamps
Mixers/preamps that negatively impact the sound at higher
gain setting
Handheld Digital Audio Recorders
Condenser microphones
Miking all types of softer sound sources
