How to Operate your Hairsetter
1. Place hairsetter on a firm, flat surface. With
the lid closed, plug cord into outlet. This
appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
defeat this safety feature. For use in the
U.S.A., the voltage selector switch should
be placed in the 120V position. For use in
several countries overseas, the voltage
selector may need to be placed in the 240V
position. Confirm the voltage available at
each overseas location before using the
appliance. For connection to a 220–240 volt
supply, use an attachment plug adapter of
the proper configuration for the power supply
receptacle. Adjust your setter to a higher
voltage by changing the switch position,
located under unit's base.
2. Once plugged in, the rollers will heat up in
minutes. The fastest, most efficient heat-up
is provided when the lid is closed. When the
red ready dot turns white, the rollers have
reached optimum temperature and you can
begin styling your hair (please refer to HOW
TO CURL YOUR HAIR for further instruction).
3. Never leave your hairsetter plugged in and
unattended. Always unplug the hairsetter
when not in use. Allow the hairsetter to cool
down after use. Store unit in safe place.
4. When using the hairsetter, your hair
should be clean and dry (or slightly damp),
never wet.

How To Curl Your Hair
1. Place ends of hair on roller and wind toward
your scalp (Fig 1). Roll hair firmly and secure
with clip. You can use either the metal clip
(not included) or the Super Clip. When using
the metal clip, secure the roller by placing the
clip crosswise over the roller. When using the
Super Clip, open the clip and place it on the
roller so that when released the clip wraps
around the rolled hair (Fig 2).

2. The firmness of the curl is regulated by the
heat-up time and the length of
time the roller is left in your hair.
3. For tight, firmer curls the rollers should be
allowed to heat up longer. The rollers should be
left in the hair for at least ten minutes before
removing. For soft, curvy curls and waves,
rollers should be removed from the hair after a
shorter period of time.
IMPORTANT: After using the setter several
times, you will find the best combination for
your hair and the results you desire.
4. To remove roller, hold roller in one hand while
removing clip with the other hand. Gently
drop roller (do not pull) and let curl bounce
back after roller is completely removed. Let
cool for one minute for a good set curl, and
then style your hair into a style that lasts for
hours.
Styling Tips
For soft curls and waves, use one or two
rollers on the top front layer of your hair. Use
the remaining rollers on the sides and back
of the head. The hair should be taken in equal
sections and rolled under, toward your neck.
After eight to ten minutes the rollers can be
removed. Let hair cool for one minute and then
style.
With short hair, use two rollers to roll the top
front layer of your hair. Use the remaining
three rollers to roll the sides and back of head.
Important: For best results with short hair, use
the Super Clips in place of the metal clips.
MAINTENANCE
Your hairsetter is designed for household
use and is virtually maintenance-free. This
product represents the highest standards of
workmanship and engineering research.
If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the
appliance from the power source. Allow the
setter to cool. Clean the unit and the heating
posts with a damp cloth. (Occasionally you
may want to clean rollers. Use a damp cloth
and mild detergent or soap.) If any abnormal
condition occurs, unplug the hairsetter, allow
it to cool, and return it to an authorized service
representative for repair.
STORAGE
Allow hairsetter to cool. Handle cord carefully
for longer life; avoid jerking or straining at
plug connections. Place hairsetter out of
reach of children in a safe, dry location.

Este aparato fue diseñado para uso doméstico.
Utilícelo solamente con Corriente Alterna de
110/120 a 220/240V (50/60 Hz).
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha
que otra). Como medida de seguridad, se
podrá enchufar de una sola manera en la
toma de corriente polarizada. Si no entrara
por completo, inviértela. Si aún no entrara
completamente, comuníquese con un
electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta
función de seguridad.
DOBLE VOLTAJE
Ponga el selector de voltaje (ubicado debajo
de la base) en la posición “120” para uso en
los Estados Unidos y en la posición “240”
para uso en países con suministro eléctrico de
220 a 240 voltios. Averigüe el voltaje antes de
enchufar el aparato. Puede que sea necesario
utilizar un adaptador de enchufe (no se incluye)
en ciertos países.
Cómo operar el juego de
rulos calientes:
1. Ponga el aparato sobre una superficie llana y
segura. Cierre la cubierta y enchufe el cable
en una toma de corriente.
2. Los rulos calentarán muy rápidamente.
Mantenga la cubierta cerrada hasta
que los estén calientes. Esto logrará un
calentamiento más rápido y efectivo.
Empiece a fijar el cabello cuando los rulos

indicador térmico rojo debería estar blanco).

3. Nunca deje el aparato desatendido mientras

Cómo fijar el cabello
1. Coloque las puntas del cabello en el rulo
y enrolle éste firmemente hacia el cuero
cabelludo (Fig.1). Sujete el rulo con una
pinza de alambre o un Super Clip™ puesto
alrededor del mismo (Fig.2). Nota: Las pinzas
de alambres no se incluyen con su juego de
rulos calientes.

2. La textura de los rizos depende de la
temperatura del rulo y del tiempo que el rulo
permanece en el cabello.
3. Para lograr bucles apretados y firmes, permita
que los rulos calienten durante más tiempo
y déjelos en el cabello durante por lo menos
10 minutos. Para lograr bucles sueltos y
ondas suaves, déjelos en el cabello durante
menos tiempo.
IMPORTANTE: La experiencia le enseñará cual
método emplear para obtener los resultados
deseados.
4. Para remover los rulos: Sostenga el rulo
con una mano y remueva la pinza con la
otra. Deslice el rulo suavemente (no lo jale)
y permita que el cabello rebote libremente.
Permita que el cabello enfríe durante un
minuto para fijar los rizos, luego peine el
cabello a su gusto para lograr un estilo que
durará horas.
Consejos
Para crear ondas y bucles suaves, divida el
cabello en secciones uniformes y enrolle los
rulos por abajo, hacia la cabeza. Utilice uno
o dos rulos encima de la cabeza y el resto e
los lados y atrás de la cabeza. Saque los rulos
después de 8 a 10 minutos. Permita que el
cabello enfríe durante un minuto antes
de peinarlo.
Para fijar el cabello corto, utilice dos rulos
encima de la cabeza y el resto en los lados
y atrás de la cabeza. Para lograr resultados
óptimos, utilice los Super Clips™.
INSTRUCCIONES DE
MANTENIMIENTO
Su aparato p2-ha sido diseñado para uso
doméstico, usando un óptimo nivel de
tecnología y de trabajo, y requiere poco
mantenimiento. Cuando sea necesario
limpiarlo, desconéctelo, permita que enfríe y
limpie el aparato y los elementos calefactores
con un paño limpio. De vez en cuando, limpie
los rulos usando un paño humedecido y
detergente o jabón suave. En caso de mal
funcionamiento, desconecte el aparato,
permita que enfríe y regréselo a un centro de

ALMACENAJE
Después de utilizar el aparato, desconéctelo,
permita que enfríe y guárdelo en un lugar
