PSD 4000
SPL‘s PERSONAL SOUND DESIGNER PSD 4000
offers high-end tube circuits and latest profes-
sional audio technologies for individual sound
design in HiFi and home theatre applications.
These applications are essentially characteri-
zed by individual parameters – combination of
AV equipment, room acoustic, personal sound
preferences and the quality of audio sources.
The PSD 4000 is the all new tool to design the
sound you love.
The PSD 4000 ”dis-covers” previously masked
audio elements by shifting the timing of per-
ception differently in accordance to their loud-
ness. The result is a substantial improvement
of detail and depth creating a vivid sound
atmosphere and amazing naturalness of the
audio. Previously lost details are recovered
and the perceived loudness is increased.
What you like is what you get
While preserving amplifi ers, especially Pop/
Rock material gains enormous loudness. Too
harsh sounds in the mid-hi range are
smoothened without negative side-effects.
Intelligibility and detail are improved remar-
kably, while the enhanced presence let vocals
come ready-to-hand. A brilliant and silky top
end rounds off the processing.
Due to its excellent tonal quality and disarmin-
gly ease of use, the PSD 4000 defi nes the refe-
rence in sound optimizing.
