IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following.
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the coee maker, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the electric outlet
(2 ).30Vac
3. Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it must be replaced with
the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest Imarex Authorized Service Center.
5. Do not use the coee maker if the water tank is empty.
6. Do not place the coee maker near gas stove, electric burner or heated oven.
7. Put the coee maker on stable surface; keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
8. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
9. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
10. Do not allow cord to touch hot surface of the coee maker.
11. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the coee maker in water.
12. Do not use carafé for other purposes.
13. Avoid placing the carafé on a wet or cold surface.
14. Do not use the carafé if it has a crack or the handle is not stable.
15. Switch OFF after use and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.
16. Do not use the unit for outdoor use.
17. Do not use this unit other than its intended use.
18. For household use only, not intended for any business purposes.
19. After use, always switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE
1. For initial use, wash lter basket, lter holder and the carafé thoroughly.
2. Plug the unit into a convenience outlet, always make it sure that the unit is in OFF position.
3. Put the lter basket into the lter holder.
4. e Put ground coee into the lter basket using a measuring spoon, standard measurement is on
scoop of ground coee (7 to 8 grams) for a cup of water (8oz.), but you may adjust according to
personal taste, and then close the funnel.
5. Open the lid of the water tank, pour the desired amount of water and close the then.
Note: Do not ll water tank above its maximum level as indicated on water level window .
6. Wipe and place the carafé into the keep warm plate.
7. Switch the unit ON.
8. During the brew cycle, the water will automatically drip into the carafé.
NOTE: The appliance is designed with an anti- ip feature, if you wish, at any time during dr
brewing cycle, you can temporarily remove carafe to pour and serve a cup of hot coee. The
brewing cycle will not be interrupted and no coee will drip from the unit, simply return the
glass carafe onto the warming plate to restart the brewing cycle, but do not remove the glass
carafe longer than 30 seconds
9. Remove carafe to serve after the brewing cycle, (about one minute later after the coee stops
dripping out).
NOTE: The coee you get will be less than the water you have poured, as some water is
absorbed by coee ground.
CAUTION: When pouring coee, make sure that the angle of the carafe does not exceed 45
degrees in reference to the vertical position, you can pour the coee slowly until the carafe
is empty, be careful not to over tilt and spill the hot contents of the carafe. The hot contents
of the carafe burn the skin on contact.
10. After brewing, the appliance will automatically switch to the warming mode, which will continue to
keep your coffee warm until you press the button to the “O” position. It is suggested that warming
time shall be not more than 1 hour; aroma and coee taste will decrease as long as it is exposed.
For the best coee taste, serve it just after brewing.
11. After use, switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience.
NOTE: Always turn o the unit if the carafé is empty.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE
1. A clean coee maker is essential for making great-tasting coee. Regularly clean the coee maker as
specied in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section.
2. Always use fresh tap water in brewing coee.
3. Store unused ground coee in a cool, dry place. After opening a package of ground coee, store it in
an airtight container to maintain its freshness.
4. For the best coee taste, buy whole coee beans and nely grind them just before brewing.
5. not reuse ground coee since this will greatly reduce the coee avor. Do
Reheating coee is not recommended as coee is at its peak avor after brewing.
6. Clean the coee maker when over-extraction caused oiliness. Small oil droplets on the surface of
brewed, black coee are due to the extraction of oil from the ground coee.
7. Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coees are used.
