HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE:
1. A clean coee maker is essential for making great-tasting coee. Regularly clean the coee maker
as specified in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section.
2. Always use fresh tap water in brewing coffee.
3. Store unused ground coee in a cool, dry place. After opening a package of ground coee, store it in
an airtight container to maintain its freshness.
4. For the best coee taste, buy whole coee beans and nely grind them just before brewing.
5. Do not reuse ground coee since this will greatly reduce the coee avor. Reheating coee is not
recommended as coee is at its peak avor after brewing.
6. Clean the coee maker because over-extraction may cause oiliness. Small Oil droplets on the surface
of brewed, black coee are due to the extraction of oil from the ground coee.
7. Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coees are used.
