When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the

2. Before using the coîee maker, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the electric outlet

3. Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced
with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest Imarîex authorized service center.
5. Do not use the coîee maker if the water tank is empty.
6. Do not place the coîee maker near gas stove, electric burner or heated oven.

8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
9. This appliance is not intended to use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or

10. Do not allow cord to touch hot surface of the coîee maker.
11. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the coîee maker in water.

14. Do not use the carafé if it has a crack or the handle is not stable.
15. Do not use the unit for outdoor use.

17. After use switch OFF, and pull the plug from the electric outlet.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE
1. For initial use, wash Filter Basket and the carafé thoroughly.
2. Plug the unit in the convenience outlet. to
3. Put the Paper Filter into the Filter Basket.
4. For each cup of coîee, put ground coîee into îlter basket using the measuring spoon
5. Open the cover of the water tank, pour the desired amount of water and close the cover.
6. Place the carafe into the warm plate plate.
7. Switch the unit ON.
8. he T coîee maker will start brewing; water will drip into the carafe.
9. To keep the coîee hot, leave the carafĂ© in the warm plate.
NOTE Always turn oî the unit if the carafe is empty.:
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
How to clean the Water Tank:
1. Pour water on the water tank with one pint vinegar.
2. Put the carafé into the warm plate.
3. Switch ON.
4. After one minute switch OFF.
5. Allow the vinegar inside the water tank for at least 30 minutes. Switch ON. The water will îow into the
carafé after boiling.
6. Empty carafé and rinse it thoroughly.
7. Pour water on the water tank and repeat the brewing cycle.
8. Switch OFF.
9. Wash the carafé once more.
How to clean the Hot Plate and the Filter Basket:
1. and al Unplug low the unit to cool OFF before cleaning.
2. Wipe the warm plate with damp cloth and wipe it dry.
3. Wash the îlter basket with soap and water.
How to clean the Carafé
1. Wash the carafé using a mild detergent.
2. To remove stains, îll carafĂ© with water and mild soap, allow these inside the carafĂ© overnight.
3. Rinse the carafé thoroughly.
