IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:

14. Always ensure that the lid is closed and the carafe is properly placed in the unit. Do not lift the carafe
while coee is dripping. Scalding may occur if the carafe is removed during the brewing cycle. Do not
touch the hot surfaces of the coee maker.

16. Do not use the carafe if it is damage or the handle is not stable.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE
1. For initial use, wash lter basket, lter holder and the cups thoroughly.
2. Plug the unit into a convenience outlet, always make it sure that the unit is in OFF position.
3. Put the lter basket into the lter holder.
4. Put adequate amount of ground coee on the lter basket.
5. Open the cover, pour the desired amount of water and close the then.
Note: Do not ll water tank above its maximum level.
6. Switch the unit ON.
7. During the brew cycle, the water will automatically drip into the cups .
NOTE:
1. You can also use your own coee mug as long as it will t on the height of the spout.
2. The coee you get will be less than the water you have poured, as some water is absorbed
by coee ground.
8. After use, switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE
1. A clean coee maker is essential for making great-tasting coee. Regularly clean the coee maker as
specied in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section.
2. Always use fresh tap water in brewing coee.
3. Store unused ground coee in a cool, dry place. After opening a package of ground coee, store it in
an airtight container to maintain its freshness.
4. For the best coee taste, buy whole coee beans and nely grind them just before brewing.

6. Reheating coee is not recommended as coee is at its peak avor after brewing.
7. Clean the coee maker when over-extraction caused oiliness. Small oil droplets on the surface of
brewed, black coee are due to the extraction of oil from the ground coee.
8. Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coees are used.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
How to clean the Water Tank:
1. Pour water on the water tank with one pint vinegar.
2. Put a mug under the spout.
3. Allow the vinegar inside the water tank for at least 30 minutes.
