IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

the instruction manual.

use, when moving the fan from one location
to another, before putting on or taking off
parts and before cleaning.
⢠Avoid contact with any moving parts.
⢠Do not operate in the presence of explosive
and/or flammable fumes.
⢠Do not place the fan or any parts near an
open flame, cooking or other heating
appliance.
⢠Do not operate any appliance with a
damaged cord, plug, after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been dropped/damaged
in any manner.
⢠The use of attachments not recommended
or sold by the appliance manufacturer may
cause hazards.
⢠Do not use outdoors.
⢠Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a
table or counter, or come into contact with
hot surfaces.
⢠To disconnect from the electrical supply, grip
the plug and pull from the wall outlet. DO
NOT pull on the cord.
⢠Always use on a dry, level surface.
⢠The fan should not be operated laying on its
side.
⢠This product is intended for household use
ONLY and not for commercial or industrial
applications.
⢠Should the fan stop working, first check the
fuse in the plug (UK only) or fuse/circuit
breaker at the distribution board is operating,
before contacting the manufacturer or
service agent.
⢠If the supply cord or plug is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person
in order to avoid hazard.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Assemble Column (C, D) to Fan housing (L)
making sure the cord is enclosed between
the Column (C, D). Secure together with 4
screws (E). Refer to Fig. 2.
2. Assemble Base (F, G) to already assembled
Fan housing and Column (C, D, L) making
sure the cord is enclosed between the Base
(F, G). Secure thogether with 4 screws (H).
Refer to Fig. 2.
3. Secure Power Cord (A) to bottom of base (F, G).
Refer to Fig. 3.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
(Refer to Fig. 1)
Power Off:
Select Speed = O, or, Select = O
Continuous Operation:
Select = I
and
Select Speed = III II, , I
Timer Control:
Select = Turns off in up to 120 minutes
and
Select Speed = III, , II I
Oscillation Control:
Press = Oscillation on, off
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
⢠Always unplug the fan before cleaning or
assembly.
⢠Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan
motor housing.

⢠Nâutilisez pas lâappareil si le cordon ĂŠlectrique

⢠Lâutilisation dâaccessoires non recommandĂŠs
ou vendus par le fabricant de lâappareil peut
provoquer certains dangers.
⢠Nâutilisez pas lâappareil Ă lâextĂŠrieur.
⢠Ne laissez pas le cordon Êlectrique pendre
par dessus le bord dâune table ou dâun
comptoir, ou entrer en contact avec des
surfaces chaudes.
⢠Pour dĂŠbrancher lâappareil de lâalimentation
ĂŠlectrique, saisissez la prise dâalimentation et
retirez-la de la prise murale. NE tirez PAS sur
le cordon ĂŠlectrique.
⢠Placez toujours lâappareil sur une surface
horizontale sèche.
⢠Nâutilisez pas le ventilateur lorsquâil repose
sur le cĂ´tĂŠ.
⢠Servez-vous de lâappareil UNIQUEMENT pour
les usages domestiques, et non Ă des fins
commerciales ou industrielles.
⢠Si le ventilateur cesse de fonctionner,
commencez par examiner le fusible de
la prise (Royaume-Uni uniquement) ou
le fusible/disjoncteur dans le panneau de
distribution avant de contacter le fabricant
ou son service après-vente.
⢠En cas de dÊtÊrioration du fil Êlectrique ou
de la prise dâalimentation, ils doivent ĂŞtre
remplacĂŠs par le fabricant, son agent de
service après-vente ou une personne
qualifiĂŠe pour ĂŠviter tout danger.

CONSIGNES D'ASSEMBLAGE
1. Assemblez le montant (C, D) et le boĂŽtier du
ventilateur (L) en vous assurant que le
cordon se trouve Ă l'intĂŠrieur du montant
(C, D). Fixez le tout avec 4 vis (E).
Reportez-vous Ă la fig. 2.
2. Ajoutez la base (F, G) aux pièces dĂŠjĂ
montĂŠes, le boĂŽtier du ventilateur et le
montant (C, D, L), en veillant Ă ce que le
cordon se trouve Ă l'intĂŠrieur de la base
(F, G). Fixez le tout avec 4 vis (H).
Reportez-vous Ă la fig. 2.
3. Fixez le cordon d'alimentation (A) sur la face
infĂŠrieure de la base (F, G). Reportez-vous
Ă la fig. 3.
CONSIGNES DâUTILISATION (Voir la fig. 1)
ArrĂŞt :
SĂŠlectionnez une vitesse = O ou
SĂŠlectionnez = O
Fonctionnement continu :
SĂŠlectionnez = I
et
SĂŠlectionnez une vitesse = III II, , I
ContrĂ´le de la minuterie :
SĂŠlectionnez = SâĂŠteint après un maximum
de 120 minutes,
puis
SĂŠlectionnez une vitesse = III II, , I
ContrĂ´le de l'oscillation :
Appuyez = Oscillation activĂŠe, Oscillation
dĂŠsactivĂŠe
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
⢠Veillez toujours à dÊbrancher le ventilateur
avant de le nettoyer ou de lâassembler.
⢠Veillez Ă ce quâil ne se produise pas
dâĂŠcoulement dâeau dans le boĂŽtier du
moteur du ventilateur.

FITTING A REPLACEMENT PLUG (UK ONLY)
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
BLUE - NEUTRAL
BROWN - LIVE
This appliance is fitted with a 13 amp plug.
The fuse should be rated at 3 amps and ASTA
approved to BS1362.
However if the plug is unsuitable, it should be
removed from the supply cord and an
appropriate plug fitted as detailed below:-
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of
this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:-
The wire which is coloured Blue must be
connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter N or coloured Black.
The wire which is coloured Brown must be
connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter L or coloured Red.
NB. Neither wire should be connected to the
terminal in your plug which is marked with the
letter E or by the Earth symbol or coloured
Green or Green and Yellow. If in doubt consult a
qualified electrician.
If any other plug is used, a 3 amp fuse must be
fitted either in the plug or adaptor or at the
distribution board.
